Industry Courses:
3 Day "Q" Grader Exam
"Q" Grader Exam only; this is not an educational course.
Within the 3 day period, participants will complete 20 exams. To become a "Q" Grader, candidates are required to pass all 20 exams.
Cost: $750 p/p
Retest fee: $50 per exam.

5 Day S.C.A.A. Cupping Judge Course

This 5 Day Intensive is designed to refine the sensory skills necessary to properly identify, cup and grade coffees from around the globe. Comprehensive exercises identify and develop one's sensory and olfactory skills through triangulation, organic acid profiling, tasting thresholds, cupping and grading.
Successful completion earns the title of S.C.A.A. Cupping Judge.
This course is a teaching preparation to the "Q Grader Exam".
Cost: $1,250 p/p

5 Day Roasting Course, 2007
This course is fully hands-on and limited to 10 individuals. The week will consist of green coffee testing techniques, S.C.A.A. cupping protocols & procedures, sample roasting (drum roasters), roaster maintenance, small batch roasting and blend development.
Cost: $1,250 p/p.
